Comedian Artus won more than 21,000 euros at the Toulouse casino when he went there to give a show.
The Toulouse establishment welcomed a delighted Artus on March 5 and 6. Coming for the presentation of his show in the Pink City, he won a substantial sum on the slot machines of the Barrière casino-theaterrevealed The Dispatch.
The lucky winner of the evening
It was on the slot machines that Victor-Artus Solaro, 36, had the best luck. During the evening he won 21 000 euros on the “701 Lock it Link”.
The director of the casino-theater confirms that the stand-upper was very lucky that evening: “It’s not a rumor. He announced it during his two shows.”
A double event
To mark his victory, the establishment brought the artist on stage with a symbolic giant check to represent his winnings: “You should know that for each win of this kind, we write a dummy check. Like a sort of large plaque with the amount written, to represent it well. Especially for this kind of win. And he showed it to the audience during his performance.”
The comedian will go on stage in Tours on March 15, Annecy on the 20th, Grenoble on the 21st, Perpignan on the 28th and Rodez on March 29. He will also soon appear in the film “A little something extra”of which he is the director.
