Between jokes, anecdotes and improvisations, the trio of actors put on a show on Friday in C à vous for the release of the film Farewell Paris this January 26. So much so that Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine, Patrick Cohen, Marion Ruggieri and Pierre Lescure had trouble conducting the interview. Edouard Baer notably launched into a long Otis-style monologue in Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra : “It’s all thanks to the Covid. Before people didn’t love each other enough, today we feel that we can no longer continue to play selfish little people. And I find that great. Telling you anecdotes , and it’s generous to jump in, you open the door and you jump in without a net. You fall, you get up, you’re covered in blood, you get back up.”
As for Benoit Poelvoorde, the Belgian star kept joking regarding the fact that the live had not started (“ah I didn’t know you were there Anne-Elisabeth”). He also had fun saying that Ali Baddou denounced Patrick Cohen for eating on the show or he gave another counter anecdote (“Mozart, he’s a fool!”)
François Damiens, he multiplied the anecdotes between bites of the dish prepared by the chef. Like this funny story regarding “the little red light” of the cameras on the set. “But what are you saying?” Benoit Poelvoorde then balances him. All the excerpts are to (re) see below.
“This trio of geniuses! What a cast!”
“Thank you Edouard, Benoît, François, it’s always a joy, a kind of surrealist poem that we experience live with you when you come”, commented Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine at the end of the show. “Thank you for having followed us in the absence of having understood everything.” “Oh shit! Was that a little confusing?”, launched Benoît Poelvoorde, while Edouard Baer joked: “When does it start? What time?” “When we’re on the air, trust me, it’s going to be different. Anne-Elisabeth, I hope you’ll lose that amateur side a bit”, outbid the actor.
Internet users are conquered by the humor of the actors. “Edouard Baer, Benoît Poelvoorde and François Damiens at the same time on C à vous c’est trop”, “Poelvoorde and Damiens in C à vous exceptional”, “I’ve been having a blast on my own since earlier in front of these three… “, can we read in particular on Twitter. “What a treat this show, unclassifiable“, “It goes in all directions”, “This trio of geniuses! What a cast!”, “It’s great tonight C to you”, “Poelvoorde is exceptional”.
