In Belgium, the consumption of fries is 16 kilos per year and per person. However, this figure might decrease in view of the difficulties experienced by fryers. Since the beginning of the year, they have been forced to increase the price of their cones. The reason: a fairly significant increase in the price of energy, that of refined beef fat and fresh potato. All these elements obviously have consequences on the final score of a fries lover.
