While the Nothing phone (1) will be unveiled in a few days, we are still learning a little more regarding the brand’s first smartphone. According to its TUV certification, its power supply would be more powerful than the phone can handle.
This July 12 will be the Nothing phone presentation conference (1). We will then know if all the rumors regarding this still mysterious smartphone are true. In the meantime, the TÜV SÜD certification reveals that the charger of this Phone Nothing will be more powerful than the maximum load power supported by the latter.
A 33 W fast charge for the Nothing phone (1)
It’s the leaker and informant Mukul Sharma who shared on Twitter information regarding the Nothing phone (1). This smartphone has been listed by TÜV SÜD for the certification of the charging part and this allows you to learn more.

According to this certification, the Nothing phone (1) might be recharged at a maximum power of 33 W. However, the power supply might in turn deliver a load of up to 45 W. If this may seem unnecessary, it is not necessarily the case. As Xiaomi can do sometimes, this would charge his phone, but also a laptop less greedy or a device that plugs into USB-C requiring more power.
We know (almost) everything regarding Nothing’s first smartphone
The brand has adopted a communication strategy by gradually revealing the design of the back of its phone, to finally show full design. Subsequently, we were entitled to first hands-on with the Nothing phone (1)but still seeing only the back.
Nevertheless, the communication of Nothing was plagued by other leaks, which revealed the existence of a black color, as well as certain technical specifications.
