Interior Minister Annelies Verlinden was a guest on the Dutch-language program “Viva La Feta”. Among the many topics of discussion, the minister notably revealed herself on her private life.
These are strong words made by the Minister of the Interior, Annelies Verlinden, in the program “Long live La Feta“. For those who don’t know, the show offers a Flemish personality to go to an island in Greece for two days. During the previous season, they had received the current president of the N-VA, Bart De Wever.
It was therefore for two days and in an idyllic setting that the Minister of the Interior visited Greece. The opportunity for her to return to more personal and not necessarily joyful events in her life. In particular, she explained the reason why she does not have children. “I did not choose not to have children. (…) When I was young, I always thought I was going to have a lot of children, but it turned out differently, and it’s a great sadness.“.
Strong and touching words.
