Audaces launches at ITMA the world’s first cutting machine activated with voice command

Industry 5.0 takes a major step forward in fashion with the world’s first cutting machine that obeys voice commands. The innovation was developed by the Brazilian multinational Audaces and presented to customers and distributors on five continents during ITMA 2023, the largest international fair for the textile and apparel industry, which started on the 8th and runs until this Wednesday (14th), at Fiera Milano Rho, in Milan (Italy).

The novelty integrates the Audaces360 multi-solution, which provides a complete fusion between the digital and the physical, through a unique platform in the market. The technology combines high quality, greater productivity and sustainability, by reducing the amount of fabric and paper used in clothing.

Use of augmented reality contributes to material savings and sustainability

A Brazilian multinational also presented at ITMA the use of augmented reality, which integrates the Audaces360 multi-solution, with improved productivity and sustainability

Another highlight of the Brazilian company at ITMA is the use of augmented reality. Audaces Fashion Studio allows the customer, through special glasses, to see the pilot pieces before they leave the digital creation. Thus, only those effectively approved go to production. Audaces cases show savings between 5% and 15% in the use of fabric.

Less waste of materials provides agility in delivery and economy in the process of samples, made to adjust the adjustments of the parts. Audaces meets the demands of small to large clothing companies, with customized subscription plans.

Industry 5.0 in fashion

“In Industry 4.0, machines talk to each other. But in creation 5.0, we involved the human being, with this innovative technology that we developed for the identification of vocal commands, which trigger the cutting machines. With augmented reality, we involve the consumer in the creative process, in a different experience to visualize the product, whether to buy or to approve a design”, says the CEO of Audaces in Europe, Magner Steffens.

With two units in Santa Catarina (Florianópolis and Palhoça) and one in Rovereto (Italy), bold It has been on the market for 31 years and is a world reference in technological solutions, with its products present in over 70 countries and a portfolio of 15,000 customers. Since 2006, the company has participated in ITMA, which is held every four years and on an itinerant basis. This year, there were more than 1,570 exhibitors from 42 countries.

SUSTAINABILITY

The textile industry is one of the largest in the world, but also one of the largest producers of waste. Therefore, one of the great challenges when talking regarding sustainability is to bring the end consumer closer to designers, stylists, creative directors, so that companies can understand and develop their pieces more assertively, according to the needs of buyers.

“Audaces solutions help a lot in this process, mainly by improving communication throughout this production process. By uniting software and hardware, we are our customers’ technological partners for creation, production, sales and, in a very special way, to connect them with sustainability, one of the main concerns of the planet”, explains Magner Steffens, who last Sunday ( 11) delivered a lecture on automation and digitization, at the invitation of ITMA, at the seminar organized jointly with the International Trade Center (ITC), an agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations.
