In recent days, the price of items has reached completely crazy sums on Diablo IV. Trade between players is an important element when looking to find specific items and some members of the community seem to have inexhaustible resources.
While it seems difficult for some users to exceed 100 million gold coins, others spend 9 billion for a single item, as you can see in this screenshot posted on Reddit.
Even though it is possible to generate a lot of gold on Diablo 4, it seems obvious to part of the community that this gold comes either from an achievement or from buying gold with real money. Although it is a risky activity, it goes without saying that some players are not afraid in the least and are attracted by the very competitive prices. To give you an idea, one billion gold coins are trading around €12 right now.
Some players also offer their services to boost level 1 characters, by getting paid a few tens of millions of gold coins for Lilith runs, for example.
