Italy miss Verratti’s efforts against England in the European Nations League

The Italian national team announced that Marco Verratti will miss England’s match once morest England in the European Nations League next Friday, due to an injury.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti suffered a calf injury during his team’s match once morest Lyon, on Sunday, in the French League, and will therefore be absent from the ranks of his country, which is invited to play two matches in the European Nations League.

Italy, the major absentee from the Qatar 2022 World Cup, will host England next Friday, before it is a guest of Hungary on the 26th.

Verratti was injured in the middle of the second half of the match once morest Lyon with a joint ball with striker Moussa Dembele.

Verratti had gone to Italy to join the national team, and revealed the extent of his injury to the medical staff of his country, and the latter decided that he was not available to coach Roberto Mancini to play the two matches.

Saint-Germain issued an official statement, confirming that Verratti had bruises in the left calf, and that he would be taken care of at the club’s training headquarters, noting that the medical staff of Saint-Germain was working in cooperation with the medical staff of the Italian national team.

Verratti has played all of his team’s matches since the beginning of the current season.
