Italians take over Polytec EMC in Marchtrenk

Now there is a new majority owner: The Italian company Cannon Afros, founded in the early 1960s, has acquired 75 percent of the shares in Polytec EMC, as the Cannon Group announced on Monday. The seller is PUR Holding, which retains a quarter of the shares. The shareholders of PUR Holding are the German Stinshoff Holding, Invest AG (Raiffeisen), the Vienna-based RSAG Industrie Beteiligungen and Ulrike Huemer. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price. PUR, founded in 2020, took over the Polytec Industrial division from Polytec Holding AG in the same year.
