Gianvento revealed to “In the Goal”: We started working with the Referees Committee this season to improve the level of arbitration technically and also analyze the teams and develop the knowledge of the referee and to reach the match with the best knowledge regarding the clubs and this is our job to prepare the referees with video clips and reports.
He added: The level of arbitration is good, and we started to improve the level at the beginning of the season, and at the end of the season there will be greater development.
Gianvento explained: I do not want to say that there is a difficult team, but we have a trend regarding the Saudi League, and the most difficult thing for the referee is to know the balance when he is on the field, especially during the loss of the ball from the side of a team or counter-attacks, and to have a good reaction in these situations.
The Italian concluded: We do not talk to the referees regarding the names of a specific player, and we try to study situations or scenarios and trust the referee’s behavior during the match.
