The Consul General of Italy in Casablanca, Marco Silvi, announced the suspension of appointments for family reunification visas through the subcontractor company TLS Contact, for a period of two weeks, necessary for technical readjustments. against certain frauds.
The Italian diplomat denounced “illegal” practices and reaffirmed his determination to combat them by all means, with the collaboration of the TLS Contact service center. In this sense, he announced the suspension of all appointments for family reunification visas for two weeks.
He also mentioned testimonies, in particular via social networks, about “fraudulent and illegal practices” in exchange for sums of money. The measure aims to identify the appointments regularly made to identify those made by intermediaries. Marco Silvi also recalled that obtaining visa appointments is free, specifying that the illegal practices of intermediaries cause delays in those made regularly.
