A case in a British court between Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo, Al Hilal’s first football team, and his Italian ex-wife prevented him from entering the list of the English Birmingham camp, according to “Sports” sources.
And Ighalo’s Italian wife had filed a lawsuit years ago, demanding half of his wealth, according to English law, in certain cases of divorce.
According to the same sources, Ighalo fears that he will be prevented from traveling if he returns to Britain, in which he had a previous experience, while the player’s lawyers are following up the case and making an effort to find a way out that does not prevent him from leaving Britain later when he enters it.
And the Al-Asimi club had announced yesterday the list of the team to leave tomorrow for England without Ighalo and justified his absence by family circumstances without giving explanations.
