Asuncion, IP Agency.- This Saturday, the 17th, the Itaipu Binational Children’s Day celebration was held with a large attendance of children and their families. The events were held simultaneously in the Tacuru Pucu Park in Hernandarias and in the Linear Park in Ciudad del Este.
In both places, the celebrations started at 2:00 p.m. and snacks, candy and balloons were given out to the children. In the play areas, thousands of children, accompanied by their parents, enjoyed the various attractions and activities, as well as the painting workshops.
There was a crazy balloon, a mechanical bull, a giant slide, a climbing wall, animated characters, face painting and many other attractions. Many of the children came to the Linear Park and the Tacuru Pucu Park dressed as their favorite characters.
Guests also enjoyed the musical comedy “Circo Aventuras al Rescate” (Circus Adventures to the Rescue), set in the magical world of Cirquilandia.
Among the many gifts for the guests were footballs made by skilled craftsmen from Quiindy. There was also a raffle of attractive prizes among those present.
The day ended with an impressive display of lights with drones that illustrated messages and congratulations to the children on their day.
The closing event was held at the Linear Park in Ciudad del Este with the participation of deputies Rocío Abed, Bettina Aguilera, Jazmín Narváez, Liz Acosta and Rodrigo Gamarra, and the legal director of Itaipu, Magnolia Mendoza and the advisors of Tourism, Diana Centurión and of Social Communication, José Luis Rodríguez Tornaco.
