We are still very far from Terminator, but the robot measures 1 m 80 for 47 kilos and walks at 5.5 km / h, the equivalent of what a human being can do. We will also notice his rather curious posture in his gait, which gives the impression that he is in a position to satisfy a natural need as quickly as possible. All he needs are hands
For the moment, this faceless robot conceals its mechanics under textile coverings. We also notice that it has stumps at the end of the arms. And for good reason ! His hands are still developing according to Unitree. To steer and evolve smoothly, the robot is equipped with a depth camera and a LiDAR. With this combination, he maps in 3D what is in front of him and knows how to interpret objects in the vicinity. For the moment, Unitree has not announced a date for the release of the H1, but according to the firm, it should be marketed within three to ten years around 83,000 euros.
