Microsoft has no choice: its games will be more expensive, starting in 2023.
The titles published by the Redmond firm and sold around 70 euros, it is well and truly over. From 2023, you will have to pay 10 euros more to buy a Microsoft game. An increase that “represents the content, scale and technical complexity of these titles”, according to the company.
Initially, three games will be affected by this increase, namely Forza MotorSport, Redfall and Starfield. Microsoft therefore joins Sony, which has already been marketing games at 79.99 euros for the past two years, for the PlayStation 5.We have held back on price increases until the end of the year celebrations, so that families can more easily afford games”, emphasizes the company.
