“It was getting harder and harder for us”

The costume rental shop, Schrauwen Feestartikelen, was a reference in Maria-ter-Heide, in the province of Antwerp. And it will soon close its doors, forty years following the opening, report our colleagues from GVA.

“The pandemic was a blow,” says Suzy, the owner. “It was getting harder and harder for us. She also remembers unfortunate episodes, where the costumes were not returned or returned in bad condition.

Suzy would have liked to find a buyer, but finally gave up on it. The closure will take place at the end of the year or the beginning of next year.
