Al-Zaaq explained in a video clip that he shared on his Twitter page that this year, 1956, witnessed heavy rains in Najd, Riyadh, Al-Washm, Al-Artawiyah, Sudair, Al-Ghat, Al-Majma’a, Al-Zulfi and the whole of Al-Qassim region, and it lasted 58 days. consecutively without interruption.

He pointed out that the rains focused on “Buraydah, Al-Zalfi”, so three thousand houses were destroyed in Buraidah, and they called it the year of destruction for this reason, and the houses in the depressions were drowned in Al-Zalfi, and they called it the year of drowning.

Al-Zaaq reported that, for the first time, the largest valleys of Najd, Wadi al-Rama and Wadi Hanifa, took place at the same time.
