It appears from the land registry that Østre Strandvej 99 in Skagen per 1 November has been sold for DKK 31 million.
On the housing guide Boliga, it is stated that the house was offered for sale for DKK 32 million, so a small refusal has been given – on the other hand, according to the site, it only managed to be for sale for three days.
The villa is 266 square meters and contains five rooms – it was built in 1959 and rebuilt in 2015.
But who bought and sold the home, which is next door to real estate mogul Hans Andersen, who became known to the general public when he was prosecuted and convicted of vandalism on two dunes on Sønderstrand.
– Parliament of the street
The seller of Østre Strandvej 99 Lars Dahl-Jensen – and Susanne Dahl-Jensen – was actually out to deny that he had anything to do with the unregulated terrain regulation of the dune.
In the local community, he was under suspicion because his outlook had also suddenly improved.
– After all, Skagen is a small community. It is the parliament of the street in some respects, and it is boring to be hit by that kind of thing, he told TV2 Nord.
However, that is not the only thing he is known for:
As Nordjyske has previously told, Lars Dahl-Jensen has been convicted of tax and VAT evasion in the millions.
It earned him a six-month suspended prison sentence, and it also led him to put a villa in Hasseris up for sale for a double-digit million sum – where the business was also run – earlier this year.
Can’t afford that
The new owner is Orla Dambo, who bought the villa together with a person whose information is not publicly available.
He has several roles in Danish business life, for example in the real estate industry – and among other things, ligeher.nu could tell in 2023 that the part-time Skagen resident had plans to start a recycling shop in Skagen’s old post office.
From an article from the Vejle County Gazette, it appears that Orla Dambo is a 61-year-old East Jutland construction giant who was born and raised in Aarhus – but today lives in Vejle with her partner.
Here he says that as a six-year-old he had to look far for the candy bags when he had to shop at the grocery store for his mother.
There was rarely enough candy for Orla and his three siblings, who grew up in a typical nuclear family in Aarhus in the 1960s.
It was then…
Housing trade
Nordjysk palæ is Denmark’s supremely largest housing market: Knuser Hellerup villa
There is little doubt that the transaction will be one of the largest in North Jutland this year – in any case, it has already broken the North Jutland record in 2023, when the most expensive house was traded – on Østerbyvej in Skagen – for DKK 22 million .

**Interview with Lars Dahl-Jensen, Seller of Østre Strandvej 99**
**Editor:** Thank you for joining us, Lars. The recent sale of your villa on Østre Strandvej has certainly made headlines. Can you share any insights into the sale process?
**Lars Dahl-Jensen:** Thank you for having me. Yes, it was quite a whirlwind. The property was on the market for only three days, which is remarkable. We listed it for DKK 32 million, and I believe the quick interest reflected the market’s competitiveness.
**Editor:** The property sold for DKK 31 million. Was that the figure you were hoping for, or did you expect closer to your asking price?
**Lars Dahl-Jensen:** Honestly, we were quite satisfied with the final sale price. It’s not uncommon to negotiate a little on the asking price. DKK 31 million is still a fantastic amount for a villa in Skagen.
**Editor:** We understand that you have faced some controversies in the local community. How do you respond to those concerns?
**Lars Dahl-Jensen:** I think when you live in a small community like Skagen, everyone knows each other’s business. There has been some speculation about my personal affairs and past mistakes, but I want to clarify that I had nothing to do with the dunes incident. It’s unfortunate how quickly gossip spreads.
**Editor:** Speaking of past issues, your history with tax and VAT evasion has raised eyebrows. How has that experience impacted you moving forward?
**Lars Dahl-Jensen:** That was a significant chapter in my life, and I’ve learned from it. The six-month suspended sentence was difficult, but I’ve been focusing on rebuilding my reputation and running my businesses ethically since then. Selling this property was a part of that process.
**Editor:** And now, the villa has a new owner. What do you know about Orla Dambo, the buyer?
**Lars Dahl-Jensen:** Orla is well-regarded in Danish business circles, though I don’t know him personally very well. I hope he enjoys the house and becomes a good neighbor.
**Editor:** Thank you for your honesty, Lars. Any parting thoughts about the real estate market in Skagen or your future endeavors?
**Lars Dahl-Jensen:** I think Skagen continues to draw interest from buyers, which bodes well for the local market. As for myself, I’ve got plans to focus on new projects. I’m optimistic about what lies ahead. Thank you for having me!
