‘It looks absolutely ridiculous and an unwarranted grab of money’ (pictured)

When she arrived at her car that she had parked in her street, in Sydney, Australia, Cindy* had the unpleasant surprise to discover a ticket on her windshield. The amount requested was, what is more, substantial: 283 Australian dollars (191 euros). His mistake? Parked so as to block a driveway. A fault that she denies and from which she defends herself, photo in support.

“It seems absolutely ridiculous and an unwarranted grab of money. Am I unreasonable? asks the driver on Facebook and as reported by the Sun. “My head is telling me to pay the fine to end this problem but I feel like it’s a real injustice,” she adds. For Cindy, her car “married” the line of her neighbor’s driveway.

An opinion that Internet users have, unfortunately for her, not shared. For them, the car was blocking part of the way. “The only injustice would be not paying this fine,” one person commented.
