A Tapbots recently launched Ivory, a client for the social network Mastodon that promises to improve the navigation experience of the users. Anyone who opened the app without first creating an account on the decentralized social network, however, had to take a step back in order to use the platform, as this option was not available.
This limitation is in the past, since the version 1.3 of the application, which recently arrived at the App Store, brought an integrated interface that allows you to create an account directly through the app — without having to open the official Mastodoon website or app to start using the platform. Just choose one of the servers to configure your account and access it.
Without specifying which ones, Ivory said it has implemented other integration improvements with Mastodon. Another novelty in the version is that, when removing an Ivory account, you will be asked by the application if you want to completely delete it from the social network — which can make your life easier if you intend to leave Mastodon for good.
While it fixed a number of other bugs in the app, Ivory also released a minor update today (1.3.1) which fixes a bug that was causing the home page timeline to load slowly on the instance. mastodon.social
