This Tuesday, in the interview Encuentro with Julio Villagram, the journalist, Walter Raudales, mentioned that the government is preparing the country for absolutism so that the state can become a dictatorship
“I think we are entering a stage, already prepared for absolutism, absolutism is the previous step to totalitarianism, and totalitarianism is when a dominant version is imposed in a forceful hegemonic way in a society”says W. Raudales, journalist.
Furthermore, he mentioned that if society does not take action once morest these injustices, there will be no possibility of staying afloat, taking into account that the movements must not lose their identity.
The journalist considers that “If there is no social assembly in the country, there is no possibility to emerge for such, assembling is like a kind of unity but without each losing their own identity as a movement and as their own struggle,” he considers. W. Raudales
Raudales criticized the FMLN party for having governed with a neoliberal system and for not having carried out drastic changes for the benefit of the population. He also pointed out that the party stopped being coherent and revolutionary, which has caused the wear and tear of the leftist party.
“The FMLN has passed its time, it stopped being coherent and it stopped being revolutionary, when it comes to power it has to administer a neoliberal system and people saw that and were not radical with the transformations to benefit the population,” critic W. Raudales
