**Interview with Tomas Jankauskas, Director of Sodra’s Pension Delivery ‌Services**

**Editor:** Thank⁣ you for joining us today, Tomas. ⁤Can you start by explaining the recent changes in the pension home delivery‍ services in Lithuania?

**Tomas Jankauskas:** Thank you for having me. Yes, starting from January next year, we will see⁢ a ⁤significant shift in our⁢ pension home delivery ⁣service providers. Under the law, we are obliged to⁣ announce a tender for these services every three years. After careful evaluation, we will be changing providers in nine ⁣territories, which will affect⁢ around 24,700 pension recipients.

**Editor:** That’s a considerable number. Which⁣ companies are⁤ going to be delivering the‌ pensions in these⁤ territories?

**Tomas Jankauskas:** For the majority of the territories, ⁣Lithuanian Post ⁢will take over the delivery services in 43 areas.‌ Additionally, two territories will ⁤be served by UAB “Bastaras” and UAB “Rausidas.” All⁣ these companies have a ‍long history of ⁤delivering pensions to people’s homes, ensuring continuity in service quality.

**Editor:**⁣ Can you specify which territories⁢ will see changes in their ⁤pension delivery service?

**Tomas⁤ Jankauskas:** Certainly! The territories‌ affected are Širvintai, Kaunas, Druskininkai, Vilkaviškis,⁢ Klaipėda, Kretinga, Skuodas, Anykščiai,‌ and Molėtai. Despite the change in service providers, most recipients will continue to receive their pensions without interruption.

**Editor:** That sounds ⁤reassuring. How⁤ does Sodra ensure ⁣that these changes do not ‍disrupt the service ⁤for pensioners?

**Tomas Jankauskas:**‍ We‌ are working closely with ‌the new providers ‌to make sure that the transition is seamless. In many cases,⁤ the same employees may continue to deliver‍ the pensions, simply under a different company banner. We prioritize the needs and comfort of the pension‍ recipients throughout this transition.

**Editor:** It’s great⁣ to hear that you are focused on the well-being of the pensioners. Is there anything else you’d like to share regarding this upcoming change?

**Tomas Jankauskas:** We encourage all pension recipients to⁤ stay informed through⁣ our official channels in case they have any questions or need assistance during this transition. We’re committed to ‌providing reliable and timely service,‌ and we ‌appreciate the support of our ‌valued clients.

**Editor:** ⁣Thank you, Tomas, for your insights ⁢and for keeping the public informed about ‌these changes. We look forward to seeing ⁢how the new service providers will enhance the pension delivery system in Lithuania.

**Tomas Jankauskas:** Thank you for having me!
