“It has become too cheap for what it is”

The boss of the low-cost company Ryanair, warns once morest the increase in the price of plane tickets. According to Michael O’Leary, speaking to the Financial Times, flights are too cheap to make a profit, due to continuing rising costs within the aviation industry.

He warns that prices will rise by €40 to €60 in the next five years due to oil, Russian gas and environmental taxes.

“It has become too cheap for what it is. I find it absurd that every time I fly to Stansted the train journey to central London is more expensive than the plane ticket,” he explained.
