Valeria herself said this in passing in a new interview on the eve of her birthday and the anniversary of her acquaintance with Prigogine. “He did everything to keep me in the office as long as possible, every time he came up with some kind of excuse. Soon I realized that I was not parting with him at all and I was already living a completely different life. It seemed to me that I was losing independence, ”said the singer.
And Prigogine really acted quickly. According to the artist, it turns out that the producer fell in love with her at first sight. “It never occurred to me that a person had such thoughts,” added the celebrity. Joseph surrounded the new ward with care, while really trying to do everything so that they spent as much time as possible together. Valeria was wary of the signs that the producer gradually began to give her. So, when Prigogine first dared to take his beloved by the hand, she pulled her back and pretended that nothing had happened.
Valeria was not just afraid of the mood of Joseph. Prigozhin’s past did not bother the artist, but in the future there were unclear prospects for her. She liked Prigozhin first of all as a producer, she did not even meet with other candidates and listen to their proposals. Threatening work for the sake of the illusory hope of arranging a personal life following a difficult marriage and divorce from Shulgin did not seem to Valeria a good idea. The star directly stated her fears to Prigogine following his first timid confession. She suggested that she might easily fall in love with another person, and then their work might suffer. To Joseph’s credit, he steadfastly endured Valeria’s answer.
“It was very beautiful in Amsterdam, tulips were blooming, and one day, when we were sitting in a restaurant, Joseph confessed his love to me. He, poor thing, was so worried when he said it. I sat and thought: “Boy, why are you suffering, you might not speak, I already know everything …” This situation worried me, and I decided to talk to him. She asked what would happen to our work if I met a person, fell in love with him. Joseph replied: “It will be difficult for me, but I will fulfill all my obligations.” And from that moment on, I internally relaxed, let go of the situation, because I realized that the guy is responsible and you can deal with him, ”the singer recalled.
Gradually, Valeria thawed out and answered Prigogine in return. And since then, she has never regretted her decision. Even following 19 years, the producer idolizes his wife and is ready to do anything for her.
