In a precedent of its kind, “Apple” waived its business rules and accepted the desire of many of its users, so it made an exceptional update to “iOS 16” following iPhone users complained regarding the “permanent display” feature.

After releasing the iOS 16 update in September, Apple has now released version 16.2, which not only contains security updates and other minor changes, but also includes a host of completely new features.

And the German newspaper “Bild” stated that the new update will offer more options for the “Always-On-Display” feature, which is known as “AOD”.

And the new updates are supposed to include an application that is a digital whiteboard: when you open it, it appears a white surface on which you can draw, write or attach digital notes, and you can use it as a space for brainstorming, brainstorming, planning projects or collecting ideas.

New widget applications

With the iOS 16 operating system, the so-called “lock screen widget” was introduced for the iPhone, and with the update to version 16.2, two new widgets were added.

According to the newspaper “Bild”, from now on, you can use the “widget” to remind yourself of the medications that are scheduled to be taken through the “Health-App” application, as well as allow viewing sleep data from the previous night.

And now Apple is stepping back, and from now on, users can choose what the Always On Display (AOD) should show when the iPhone is locked and they can also deactivate the background image, according to Bild.
