At the end of March, the popular Russian theater and film actress Chulpan Khamatova left Russia and resigned from Sovremennik. Here he worked for 25 years.
Khamatova was busy in two repertoire performances: “Enemies. Love Story” and “Morning Evening”. After the news of the star’s departure, fans began to worry that they would not be able to see these productions on stage once more.
In the play “Enemies. Love Story ”Khamatova was replaced by Svetlana Ivanova. She had to prepare in an extremely short time. Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Yushkevich told StarHit, that the young colleague managed to completely replace Khamatova.
The artist commented on Ivanova’s game: “Sveta did Masha perfectly. Perfectly! She only had three days of rehearsal. Chulpan and I rehearsed for regarding eight to nine months, and in such a short time Sveta simply brilliantly coped with the role, which, it seemed to me, had little to do with her.
