The former presenter of TV2 announced that the local organization of the ruling party voted for him with full support.
István Szebeni is the ruling party’s mayoral candidate Ráckevén – the former TV2 host announced this on his Facebook page on Friday.
Szebeni added that on Monday the local organization of Fidesz voted for him with full support, without abstention, with the support of Károly Pánczél, member of parliament and constituency president.
Last spring, István Szebeni left TV2’s Tények show, where he moved from Echo TV. He was fired from public television in 2013 for airing a swearing recording.
