Issy-les-Moulineaux is the headquarters of many media: many print and digital press, television and radio groups have taken up residence in our town. Some presenters well known to the general public even live in Issy.
If the history of the city with the media is not recent (it began in 1985 with the installation of the agency of Jacques Séguéla), its news is made burning by the delivery of the new headquarters of Canal + in the Sways building, now called ONE, rue Camille Desmoulins and the 30th anniversary of the Franco-German cultural channel Arte.
The Canal + group was already installed in Issy, a few numbers from the same street. But part of the group was dispersed over several sites, notably in Paris and Boulogne-Billancourt. The group has chosen to regroup in a single head office, in Issy, in a building of
last generation with many services and shops nearby.
The arrival of these some 3,000 new jobs in the City adds to those of the many other establishments recorded over the past two years (Orange, Nestlé, Cognacq-Jay Images, Groupe 1981, Eutelsat, PariSanté Campus, to name only the most important). The Arte channel has just celebrated its 30th anniversary. After the first program broadcast in 1992, the channel has continued to innovate by supporting the major changes in our society. It also distributes on a site and a mobile application rich and varied content that meets the challenges that we must all meet collectively.
Issy.com offers you a dive into these groups that make our city a land of media.
