This was followed by a decision by the Israeli Ministry of Education to remove sections regarding Greta’s activities from school textbooks. Israel also accused Greta of losing her right to be a role model by expressing her support for Gaza. ‘Hamas is the terrorist organization responsible for the murder of 1,400 innocent Israelis, including children. This stance has stripped her of her right to be an educational and moral role model. “She will not be an inspirational figure for Israeli students,” the Israeli Ministry of Education explained.
