Israeli strikes kill 36 Palestinians in Gaza ahead of ceasefire talks

CAIRO (AP) — At least three dozen Palestinians have been killed in multiple Israeli strikes in southern Gaza, health workers said Saturday, as officials including a Hamas delegation met in neighboring Egypt for high-level talks on a ceasefire.

Among the dead there are 11 members of the same familyincluding two children, who died when an Israeli airstrike hit their home in the town of Jan Yunis in the early hours of today Saturday, according to officials of the hospital Nasser.
