Raids kill dozens of regime and organization forces in Aleppo
NNA – Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper wrote:
The Israeli targeting of Iran’s presence in Syria and Hezbollah “everywhere” has taken an unprecedented escalatory turn, foretelling the approach of a comprehensive confrontation following the “bill of lives” reached a ceiling that the party cannot bear by justifying “preoccupation” for the sake of Gaza.
While Hezbollah announced the killing of seven of its members, including Ali Naim, whom the Israeli army described as deputy commander of the party’s rocket and missile unit, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said: “We have moved from striking (Hezbollah) to pursuing it. We will reach all A place where it is found in Beirut, Baalbek, Tyre, Sidon, Nabatieh, and all along the front, and also to more distant places such as Damascus and others. We will work wherever we are required to do so.”
In his words, Gallant hinted at Israel’s responsibility for raids that targeted sites near Aleppo Airport, killing 37 Syrian regime forces and 7 Hezbollah.
The Ynet website reported that the Israeli raid on Aleppo airport targeted a “specific shipment” of Iranian weapons at a location inside the airport. He hinted that this shipment consisted of guided missiles, drones, or equipment to improve missile accuracy, and that it was sent to Hezbollah as part of the party’s preparations for a possible all-out war with Israel.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced that Israeli raids targeted a Hezbollah missile depot, and a training center is located near it in the Jibreen area, near Aleppo International Airport. The Observatory said that this attack is “the most violent Israeli strikes on Syria in 3 years.”
