JERUSALEM: Clashes erupted following Israeli police raided an al-Aqsa mosque in East Jerusalem. 152 Palestinians wounded. Concerns have been raised as to whether the recent small conflicts will pave the way for bigger ones. The Palestinian Red Crescent said the injuries were caused by the use of rubber bullets and stun grenades and the use of batons by police.
Hundreds of Palestinians hurled firecrackers and stones at Israeli forces and at a nearby Jewish prayer site, according to a statement from Israeli police. A spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Naphtali Bennett said police had entered the mosque to calm the situation and that three officials had been injured in the incident.
