Gaza City: Footage of Israeli prisoners saying goodbye to Hamas fighters has gone viral once more. Footage of the hostages released by the Red Cross on Wednesday was released. The hostages return to their homeland with joyful greetings such as Goodbye, Shukran and Maassalama. The video was shared by various international media.
The sixth batch of hostage exchange as part of the ceasefire agreement was completed the other day. Israel’s military radio said ten people had been freed. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office also confirmed this.
The video shows Al Qassam Brigade soldiers loading the freed hostages into a vehicle. The hostages can be seen laughing and shaking hands, hugging and saying goodbye. A young woman approaches the vehicle and asks for a ride by repeatedly saying good bye, good bye. Another young woman is seen clapping the hands of Hamas fighters and waving and saluting, saying Shukran, we go home (thank you, we’re going home). A young woman asks for a ride by saying ma’salama (goodbye) in Arabic.
⚡️Hamas published a new footage showing the 6th handover by both Hamas & PIJ of the israeli & thai prisoners to the Red Cross.
This feels anything but a prisoner exchange, amazing scenes that will surely seethe the Zionists. pic.twitter.com/EviQV7pGYo

The video of 17-year-old Mia Leimberg, who killed her pet dog and returned to Israel, went viral on social media. Mia and her mother Gabriela were captured by Hamas during the October 7 military operation. A letter written by Israeli hostage Daniel Aloni thanking Hamas fighters and Al Qassam leadership was also much discussed.
Hamas shared the letter written in Hebrew on social media. Thus;
To the soldiers who have accompanied me in the past weeks, it seems that tomorrow we will part. Therefore, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your extraordinary humanity to my daughter Emilia.
You were like guardians to her. You invited her home whenever you wanted. Emilia admits that you are not only her friends, but also very dear.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the hours spent with her as a grandmother. Thank you for being patient with her and keeping her company with sweets, fruits, whatever was there even if it wasn’t available much.
Do not hold children hostage. But thanks to you and the good people I met along the way. My daughter fancied herself a queen of Gaza. She admits that she is the center of the world’s attention.
A letter from one of the hostages that was released two days ago to the Al-Qassam:

During our long journey there we did not meet a single person, from the lower ranks of the soldiers to the leaders, who did not show her kindness, compassion and love. I too will be a prisoner of your magnanimity. She will be forever grateful to you that she didn’t leave Gaza with permanent trauma.
The loss you experienced in Gaza, the emergencies… the kindness you showed in spite of such difficult circumstances will always be remembered. Wish we might be your true friends in this world. I wish you all peace. May your children and family be healthy and well. Thank you very much.
Daniel and Emilia.
Meanwhile, Qatar, the mediator country, announced that the ceasefire between the two sides has been extended by one more day. The temporary ceasefire that started last Friday was supposed to end today. This is the second time the ceasefire has been extended.
