(CNN)— Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu unveiled a plan For the future of Gaza in the post-Hamas periodincluding “complete demilitarization” of the Strip, “freedom of Israeli military action in the entire Gaza Strip,” and a “security zone” inside the enclave.

CNN obtained a copy of the plan that Netanyahu presented to members of the Israeli security cabinet on Thursday evening.

This comes in conjunction with the Israeli Defense Cabinet’s approval to send a negotiating team led by the director of the Mossad intelligence service, David Barnea, to Paris, on Friday, to continue talks on a possible ceasefire and a hostage release agreement, according to what an Israeli official revealed earlier.

The official added, “It is expected that the negotiating team will be empowered to participate in substantive negotiations instead of just listening to proposals as they did during the meetings held in Cairo last week.”

Earlier this week, Netanyahu called on members of the Knesset (Parliament) to vote by an “overwhelming majority” on a draft resolution that “stipulates Israel’s opposition to the attempt to impose the establishment of a Palestinian state on it.”

In a statement published by Ofir Gendelman, spokesman for the Israeli Prime Minister, Netanyahu attributed the draft resolution to “pressures of a new kind represented by an attempt to impose the establishment of a Palestinian state on us, which will constitute a threat to the existence of the State of Israel unilaterally,” he said.

Netanyahu expressed his rejection of what he considered “Israel’s surrender to international dictate,” saying: “We categorically reject that.”
