The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced today, Tuesday, the collapse of the health system in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the Israeli occupation targeting hospitals and health centers in light of the lack of medicines needed to treat the injured and the overcrowding of hospitals with those injured as a result of the aggression.
The spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, Ashraf Al-Qudra, said: “We announce the complete collapse of the health system in the hospitals of the Gaza Strip.”
Al-Qudra announced that 12 hospitals and 32 health centers were out of service, adding: “We fear that more will stop due to targeting and running out of fuel.”
In a related context, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression on Gaza had risen to 5,791 martyrs, including 2,360 children and 1,292 women.
