The Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Abbas Al-Halabi, issued the following statement:
Once once more, the Israeli enemy violates all the values and rules that govern war and peace, by targeting innocent civilians, killing four women, including three childhood schoolgirls, and wounding others.
It is a crime whose heinousness cannot be described in words, and it is one in a series of crimes committed daily by the occupation once morest innocent people.
We share the grief and grief with the families of the martyrs and their companions and with the educational family at the Sacred Coeurs School in Ain Ebel, and we stand in solidarity with them in their mourning, and we call on all those responsible for the administration of public and private schools, secondary schools, and vocational schools to observe a minute of silence tomorrow morning, Monday, to mourn the souls of the martyrs.
