Cairo News Channel reported that the Israeli occupation bombed the towns of Tayr Harfa, Shihin and Umm al-Tut in southern Lebanon.
At the beginning of the week, the Israeli occupation army announced that 5 soldiers in its ranks were injured following the firing of an anti-tank missile from Lebanon at a military site in the Al-Manara area and the downing of a drone coming from Lebanon in the north.
In the details, the Israeli army spokesman said: “Three Israeli soldiers were seriously injured as a result of an anti-tank missile being fired at a military site in the Al-Manara area. The soldiers were evacuated to receive medical treatment, and their families were informed.”
He added: “An Israeli Defense Forces soldier was also seriously injured and another soldier was moderately injured as a result of the fall of an enemy plane that entered Israeli territory from Lebanon. The two soldiers were evacuated to receive medical treatment, and their families were informed.”
For its part, the Lebanese Hezbollah announced that it had targeted the Israeli Ramim site and gatherings of Israeli soldiers in a number of locations in southern Lebanon, confirming that direct casualties had been achieved.
Hezbollah confirmed the killing of 7 of its members since the start of the escalation on the southern border following Hamas’ launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, bringing the death toll of its (the party’s) losses as a result of the Israeli bombing of southern Lebanon to 68 members.
