An Israeli man told CNN he saw his wife and daughters kidnapped by militants in a viral video.
The footage shows a woman in the back of the truck as a terrorist puts a scarf over her head. Yoni Asher recognized her family members. He said his wife and young daughters were visiting his mother-in-law in Nir Oz, near Gaza.
His partner’s cell phone allowed him to learn that she was in Gaza, before he recognized her in the video.
“I don’t even know what the situation is with the hostages,” Yoni Asher said. The situation does not bode well.”
My god. I’m shaking. And this man is keeping it together, pleading gently for help on @CNN.

His wife and mother-in-law are said to have German nationality. Germany would carry out checks to this effect.
For his part, the spokesperson for the Israeli Defense Forces, Lieutenant-Colonel Jonathan Conricus, affirmed that the number of civilians kidnapped is “unfortunately significant”.
A spokesperson for the Israeli police, for his part, recalled that disappearances must be reported to the police. Photos and objects with traces of DNA might help with identification.
