ISRAEL is preparing to launch a decisive strike against its arch-enemy Iran. Israel hopes that an attack from Iran will soon follow, according to a Middle East expert.
Dr. Anahita Motazed Rad warns that Tel Aviv is preparing to ‘cut off the head of the snake’ of Tehran and its vast network of proxies as they prepare for a coordinated attack that could trigger an all-out war.
He explained the possibility of a retaliatory strike by Iran in response to recent high-profile assassinations allegedly carried out by Israel, including the killing of a senior Hamas leader and a Hezbollah commander.
Iran and its allies are ready to launch a retaliatory strike “within hours,” Dr. Rad said, as reported by the Daily Express. The coordinated response is expected to come from Iran’s regional proxies, including Hamas, the Houthis and Hezbollah, who could unleash a barrage of ballistic missiles across Lebanon’s borders.
Tehran is also believed to have fired rockets from its military bases, escalating the conflict in the Middle East.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is ready to respond with, “full military capability,” to any aggression, Dr. Rad told The Sun. He said, “Israel no longer wants to fight only the ‘legs of the octopus’ but also cut off the ‘head of the snake.’”

Dr. Rad highlighted that the Iranian regime’s credibility has declined, which is pushing them closer to war. He warned, “This war is imminent.”
He predicted a quicker and more hybrid response this time involving both direct and indirect attacks through proxies such as Hezbollah and the Houthis.
The Middle East expert believes Iran will try to attack Israeli military bases and key military strongholds in neighboring countries. However, he stressed that, “Israel is very ready for war,” and could respond more harshly. (Z-2)
