Drones launched by Israel once morest the Iranian city of Isfahan early Friday (19.4.24) did not cause damage or casualties, according to Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
“Media supporters of the Zionist regime, in a desperate attempt, tried to present their defeat as a victory, while the downed mini-drones did not cause damage or casualties,” Abdollahian told Muslim nations’ envoys in New York, according to with Iranian media.
Tehran has indicated it has no plans for further retaliation.
Israel has made no public comment on the attack that took place early Friday.
Earlier, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in his remarks praised the Iranian attack on Israel last Saturday, but made no mention of the Israeli response early Friday.
“This operation showed our authority, the steel will of our people and our unity,” the Iranian president said in a speech to hundreds of citizens in Semnan province, east of Tehran.
In his speech Raisi made no mention of the explosions in Isfahan and there is no reaction from the Iranian side.
