Gaza: Israel has denied visas to UN staff following the United Nations criticized Israel for attacking civilians and hospitals in Gaza.
Various media reported that Israel will not renew the visas of UN staff and will not grant it to another UN staff member who has applied for a visa.
‘We will not work with those who support Hamas’s propaganda,’ Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen told X.
Eli Cohen said that the behavior of the UN since the beginning of the bombing of Gaza on October 7th has been disgraceful.
It is the latest in Israel’s ongoing rift with the UN over the Gaza issue.
Israel recently announced that it was revoking the residency visa of Lynn Hastings, the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Palestine. He left there last week.
