On Wednesday evening, the Israeli army issued warnings to residents of neighborhoods in the Khan Yunis Governorate, south of the Gaza Strip, to evacuate their homes.
Israeli Army Radio said, “For the first time, the army called on residents of some neighborhoods of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip to evacuate their homes,” through leaflets dropped by Israeli aircraft on a number of neighborhoods east of Khan Yunis.
The radio published a leaflet written in Arabic that included: “To the residents of the eastern neighborhoods of Khan Yunis, Al-Qarara, Khuza’a, Bani Suhaila, and Abasan, for your safety, you must evacuate your place of residence immediately,” according to what was reported by the Anatolia Agency.
The occupation army had previously issued warnings to residents of the northern Gaza Strip to head south, before today calling on residents of the south to evacuate their homes.
Neighborhoods in the southern Gaza Strip were also subjected to bombing, killing martyrs and wounded in those areas where the occupation asked the people of the Gaza Strip to seek refuge, in addition to displaced people being bombed on their way to the southern regions, according to several Palestinian sources.
