Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari said that his forces have attacked more than 50 Lebanese Hezbollah targets in Syria and 3,400 targets in Lebanon since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip regarding 4 months ago.

Hagari added in statements he made on Saturday that Israel attacked from the ground and air more than 50 Hezbollah targets of this type in various parts of Syria, in addition to more than 3,400 similar strikes once morest Hezbollah targets in Lebanon.

The spokesman pointed out that 150 Hezbollah cells in Lebanon were destroyed and 200 people were killed in these strikes, he said.

When making this statement, Agence France-Presse noted that it was unable to verify any of these numbers independently, noting that Israel rarely comments on the strikes it carries out in Syria, but it has repeatedly said that it will not allow Iran, which supports the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, to establish Its presence in its neighboring country.

On the other hand, the Israeli army announced the killing of 9 soldiers and 6 civilians in northern Israel, adding that it was conducting land, air and sea training in anticipation of any war in the north.

Since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and the outbreak of war between Israel and the Palestinian resistance led by the Al-Qassam Brigades on October 7, the Lebanese-Israeli border has witnessed an almost daily exchange of bombing, especially between the Israeli army and Hezbollah.

Hezbollah regularly announces targeting Israeli army positions on the border in support of the Palestinians in Gaza, and Israel responds by bombing the party’s “infrastructure” and its fighters in the border areas.

According to Agence France-Presse, at least approximately 250 people were killed in Lebanon – most of them Hezbollah fighters – including at least 26 civilians.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip left 27,238 martyrs and 66,452 injured – most of them children and women – according to the Palestinian authorities, and also caused massive destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian disaster, according to the United Nations.
