The Israeli army announced on Tuesday that it raided sites in the towns of Tayr Harfa and Dhahira in southern Lebanon during the night hours.
He said in a statement: “Last night, warplanes raided a Hezbollah military building in the Tayr Harfa area and another building in the Dhahira area.”
He added, “During tonight’s hours, two shells were monitored from Lebanon towards the town of Shlomi (northern Israel), where the army attacked the sources of fire.”
For its part, the Lebanese Information Agency pointed out that Israeli warplanes carried out dawn raids on the town of Tayr Harfa, targeting a house, which led to three minor injuries among civil defense medics affiliated with the Al-Resala Scouts.
The agency reported that the Israeli army fired bursts of gunfire towards farmers in the town of al-Mari – Hasbaya District, without reporting any casualties, while several drones had been flying since dawn in the airspace of the villages of Arqoub and Hasbaya.
Israeli spy planes also flew heavily over Iqlim al-Kharroub.
Yesterday evening, two people were martyred in an Israeli raid on a house in Mays al-Jabal, according to the Lebanese agency.
Hezbollah bombs buildings in Shumira and Shlomi
On the other hand, Hezbollah announced in a statement that its fighters targeted a building used by Israeli soldiers in the Shomera settlement “with appropriate weapons.”
In a second statement, the party indicated that “a building used by Israeli enemy soldiers in the Shlomi settlement was targeted with missile weapons,” in response to the Israeli attacks on southern villages and civilian homes.
The party also targeted two buildings in the Avivim settlement used by occupation soldiers with appropriate weapons, and directly hit them. He also pointed out that a gathering of occupation soldiers in the vicinity of the Pranit Barracks was targeted with missiles.
The party had mourned one of its members, Hussein Ali Dabouq, from the town of Shubriha in southern Lebanon, who was martyred in confrontations with Israel.
The exchange of fire has continued on the southern border of Lebanon since October 8, following the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
