Israeli army chief Aviv Kochavi will visit Morocco next week, an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman told Xinhua on Saturday.
The IDF spokesman gave no further details on Kochavi’s upcoming visit.
Israel and Morocco normalized their relations in December 2020, before signing a memorandum of understanding on military cooperation.
The Israeli army sent observers to a military exercise in Morocco in early July as part of this memorandum of understanding.
