There was apparently an Israeli airstrike in the densely populated camp in the north of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday afternoon. The number of dead and wounded is not yet known.
Palestinians search for victims in the Jabalia refugee camp. The camp had previously been bombed by Israel’s army.

The Qatari television channel al-Jazeera shows scenes of total destruction from the Jabalia refugee camp in the north of the Gaza Strip. Entire buildings were apparently pulverized or collapsed. Meanwhile, rescuers are trying to dig survivors out of the rubble. The images also show at least one deep crater in the middle of the previously densely developed area.
