Israeli Air Strikes in Southern Lebanon: Latest Updates and News

Israeli occupation aircraft launched a series of violent air strikes on several areas in southern Lebanon, causing significant material damage, without any reports of deaths or injuries.

The official Lebanese media agency reported that Israeli raids targeted the town of Yater in the Bint Jbeil district with more than one air strike, one of which hit a three-story house, causing major material damage, but no information was received regarding any casualties.

Israeli aircraft also launched air strikes targeting the vicinity of the towns of Naqoura and Alma al-Shaab on the Lebanese-Israeli border and Jabal al-Labouneh in the South Governorate, according to the Lebanese News Agency.

The source reported that bombing targeted the Marjayoun Plain and the forests of the town of Shebaa in Nabatieh Governorate, without any information receiving any casualties.

The Israeli occupation army said in a statement published on the “X” platform: “Warplanes attacked targets of the Hezbollah organization, including a weapons depot, missile launch sites, infrastructure for directing terrorism, and sites where there are technological means.”

He added that the attack came in response to the launching of missiles from Lebanese territory earlier on Tuesday evening towards northern Israel.

The occupation army continued that its forces also attacked a cell that attempted to launch anti-tank missiles from Lebanese territory towards Israel.

Earlier Tuesday, the Israeli army announced that its forces attacked sources of fire inside Lebanese territory, following monitoring regarding 20 rocket launches towards Israel.

Meanwhile, the “Hezbollah” group said in a statement that it “targeted” Israeli artillery positions in occupied Palestine, in response to the targeting of one of its points in the Al-Tuffah region in southern Lebanon last Monday night.
