Hassan Nasrallah, the head of Lebanon’s militant group Hezbollah, said on Thursday that Israel will not be able to resettle its settlers who left the northern region due to the 11-month-old tension on the border.
According to the French news agency AFP, Hassan Nasrallah warned Israel in a speech broadcast today: “You will not be able to bring the people of the north back to their homes.”
He warned that ‘Citizens cannot be brought back to the border due to any military tension, killings and war.’
He said that Israel crossed all the red lines by attacking Hezbollah through radio devices and pagers. His speech was broadcast as Israeli warplanes rattled buildings in Beirut.
According to Reuters, the head of Hezbollah threatened Israel that it would face “severe retribution and fair punishment” for detonating the devices.
The head of Hezbollah also announced an internal investigation into the blasts of these communications devices.
Lebanon and Hezbollah blamed Israel for the attacks on communications equipment, which have so far killed 37 people and injured nearly 3,000.
Lebanon’s hospitals were filled with wounded from these attacks, while Hezbollah suffered heavy casualties.

Israel did not directly comment on the attacks, which security sources said were likely carried out by its Mossad spy agency.
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah added in his televised address, “There is no doubt that we have suffered a major security and military blow that is unprecedented in the history of the resistance and unprecedented in the history of Lebanon.” ‘
According to him: ‘This kind of massacre, target and crime is perhaps unprecedented in the world.’
Hassan Nasrallah said that these attacks have crossed all red lines and the enemy has gone beyond all control, laws and ethics.
“These attacks can be considered war crimes or declaration or war, they can be called anything and they deserve to be called anything, surely that was the intention of the enemy,” he added.
