Israel vows to retaliate against Iran

Israel has vowed to retaliate once morest Iran, potentially bringing the conflict between the two foes to a head-on conflict following an Iranian attack over the weekend involving hundreds of drones and missiles toward Israel.

The Associated Press said in a press release that Israeli officials have not said how or when they might strike. However, as countries around the world call on Israel to show restraint and the threat of war on multiple fronts grows, it is clear that a direct Israeli attack on Iranian soil would have significant consequences.

Iran says it carried out the offensive to avenge an Israeli airstrike that killed two Iranian generals in Syria on April 1. It has vowed a much tougher response to any Israeli counterattack on its soil.

Israel, meanwhile, is focused on its war once morest Hamas in Gaza and is already battling Iran-backed Hezbollah militants in Lebanon every day. The United States has urged Israel to show restraint.

Meanwhile, U.S. officials say President Joe Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the United States will not engage in any offensive action once morest Iran, and the president made it “very clear” to Netanyahu “that we have to think carefully and strategically” regarding the risks of escalation.

As for Israel’s war cabinet, they have been debating their next move for the past two days.

Iran steps up warnings once morest possible Israeli retaliation

Iran on Wednesday doubled down on warnings once morest possible Israeli retaliation for last Saturday’s attack, on a day in which it displayed its armed forces with military parades to mark National Army Day.

According to EFE, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi once once more praised Saturday’s attack with 300 missiles and drones once morest Israel. “(Operation) ‘True Promise’ shattered Israel’s image of invincibility and demonstrated that its power is like a spider web,” he said.

In response to a possible Israeli response, Raisí said that for the United States, “the military option is not on the table,” which is due to the “authority of our Armed Forces.”

The Iranian president stressed that Saturday’s attack on Israeli territory was “limited” and that the operation might have been broader.

“True Promise was a limited and not comprehensive action. If it were a large-scale action, they would have seen that nothing would remain of the Zionist regime (Israel),” Raisi said.

The politician also reiterated his warnings to Tel Aviv: “If the Zionist regime commits the slightest aggression on our land, it will receive a fierce and severe response.”
