Schools (including kindergartens) will be closed tomorrow (first day of the week) and Monday in Israel. This was established by the Home Front Command, in what appears to be a further sign of a possible and imminent retaliation by Iran. The new provisions, which are valid from 11pm this evening to 11pm on Monday and involve all educational activities, also include a ban on gatherings of more than a thousand people. Further restrictions were foreseen in areas near Gaza. “Full alert” was also declared by the Israeli army for a possible attack. The IDF spokesperson specified that “dozens of planes are ready to take off” with a view to a possible raid by Tehran.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant specified that the United States and other allies have provided Israel with “new capabilities” to defend once morest a potential Iranian attack, as well as to respond to it: “We are closely following a planned attack by Iran and the its delegates once morest the State of Israel. In recent days we have strengthened our air defense deployment and our offensive deployment. We have added new capabilities, on land, in the air, at sea, in intelligence, within the State of Israel and together with our partners, led by the United States.” Everything is ready to limit the damage from Iran.
